There was an article from St. Peterburgs Times Newspaper on Sunday.

The business section ask readers for ideas on "How to fix the economy".

I thought this was the best idea.

This guy nailed it.

" For a total cost of 40 billion you could solve our financial problem.


There are about 40 million ppl in the work force. Pay them $1million a piece severance with the following stipulations.

1. They leave the work jobs. Forty million jobs opening.

(Unemployement fixed)

2. They buy new American cars. 40 million cars ordered.

(Auto Industry fixed)

3. They either buy new house or pay off their mortage.

(Housing crisis fixed)

Some people may have to take things complicated when they have to be.

This is a lot less than the billions given to banks and insurance companies.
